I’m a local Realtor and reached out to Preet at Western Insulation on very short notice after a home inspection raised some concerns about the attic for my buyer clients. We were working with a very tight subject removal deadline and needed someone who could get to the property quickly and give us a professional opinion.

Do you have an infested attic? I had raccoons, birds, rats, squirrels and mice in my attic over the years, and was concerned about hazardous infestation.

My Surrey neighbour had their insulation topped up, and recommended Western Insulation Ltd.

The owner Preet Sangha and his hard-working staff were respectful and professional at all times. Preet took the time to review options, and patiently answered all my questions.

Rather than a top-up, I opted to remove the infested insulation completely.
First sheets were laid down to protect flooring, stairs, etc. The hazardous infested insulation was removed, new batting was installed around the skylights and spacers were installed to enable circulation. Then 16” of new insulation was blown-in. The crew even cleaned up and vacuumed before leaving

The difference in attic temperature was immediate. It felt warmer. The new insulation would ensure that it’s warmer in the winter, cooler in summer, reduce heat loss by 25% and cut energy bills by 20–30%. I like that it’s durable, eco-friendly, and built to last 25+ years. And, I received a $900 home renovation rebate.

Western Insulation Ltd. deserves their A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.
